Proper Radio Use and Etiquette

Radio use is a command and control tool. It is used to pass information from one person to another person or to a group of people, across great distances. Radio makes coordination of resources possible in a way that other means of communications just can't begin to match.

Security Officers and their Legal Authority

It is important for the general public to acknowledge that a security officer is not a police officer. Security officers do not have the training or legal authority of a police officer; security officers only possess the authority granted to them by the owners of the property on which they are posted and which is dictated by law.
